From talented film school students to established
filmmakers such as Suno Gonera, Aryan Kaganof,
Thabang Moleya and Diana Keam, catch them all
at the Labia Independent Theatre from the 17th to the
23rd of March.Consisting of purely South African
film it aims to promote this emerging art form into
the public eye. Unlike any other cinema genre,
short films allow for the unexpected they are often
more willing to take risks and more eccentric than
full-length feature films. The 120 films offer a wide
spectrum of themes and genres:
Classic dramatizations are to be screened alongside
personal works, animations next to music videos
and documentaries. Stories ranging from 5 to 30
minutes are compiled into 90 minutes to create an
incredible cinematic experience at each screening. |
