Within the celebrated Houston Museum of Natural Science in Hermann Park, the Cockrell Butterfly Center is a soaring, three-storey glass-walled rainforest conservatory inhabited by some two thousand free-flying butterflies of around sixty species drawn from rainforests around the world.
