Opened in August 2012 by the team behind the long-running Croft, the Exchange is a grassroots music venue on Old Market Street, just east of Bristol city centre. From the outset it set out to be a home for independent and underground music, pairing a main live room with a smaller basement space for club nights and emerging acts.
