A rare brickwork frontage on Lawfords Gate hides one of east Bristol's most welcoming traditional pubs, the Crown Tavern. Reopened in August 2024 after more than a year shuttered, the pub was sensitively refurbished under landlord Sam Gregory and brought back as a single, spacious bar with comfortable seating.
