Few independent venues are as woven into Birmingham's grassroots music story as the Flapper. Perched on the canal edge at Cambrian Wharf, overlooking the basin on the famous James Brindley Walk, it has supported the local live scene since the early 1990s while also hosting national and international touring bands.
