Originally built as the Victoria Theatre in 1913, the building at 241 2nd Avenue South in downtown Saskatoon has cycled through a century of entertainment identities. It operated as the Tivoli from 1930, closed in 1964, reopened as the Grodieon in 1965, was absorbed by Cineplex Odeon in 1984, shuttered again in 1988, returned as the Paradise in 1995, and was relaunched as the Odeon Events Centre in 2004 before taking its current Coors Event Centre name in 2018.
