Big Top refers to the large marquee that is periodically raised in Stewart Park, on the southern edge of Middlesbrough, to host touring shows and outdoor events rather than to a permanent building. When in place, the tent provides a covered performance and seating space within the wider parkland, and dates and layouts are set by whichever promoter is using it at the time.
