Starlane Pizza Bar is a hybrid pizza restaurant and nightclub on Cody Road in Canning Town, in east London's docklands. By day and early evening it trades as an Italian-French pizzeria and bar, while at night it becomes an intimate club for electronic music and late events. The venue holds a capacity of around 200 and combines an indoor bar and club space with an outdoor garden terrace. Its programming leans heavily on house and underground dance music, drawing local and international DJs to a part of the city that has become a hub for after-hours clubbing. In a notable development for a small venue, Starlane secured a rare 24-hour licence for Fridays and Saturdays, allowing it to run extended day-into-night parties. Its general manager, the founder of the Number Group, framed the move as filling a gap in the market for a small London venue able to open around the clock. To make use of the longer hours, the club hosts marathon events under banners such as Daydreamers and All Night Long, often in collaboration with guest promoters, alongside milestone parties stretching across an entire day. Access to the 24-hour events is managed through a membership scheme and advance tickets. Canning Town has emerged as an unlikely centre of London's underground scene, with Starlane sitting close to the well-known 24-hour venue FOLD. Together they have helped turn this industrial corner of Newham into a destination for serious clubbers willing to travel for long, late sessions. The combination of a working pizza kitchen, a garden terrace and a dedicated dance floor gives Starlane an unusually flexible identity, equally suited to a casual meal, a drink or an all-night rave. That mix, alongside its extended licence, has helped it carve out a distinctive niche in the capital's nightlife.
