Spread across some 9,000 square feet in Al Barsha, Kids HQ is an indoor edutainment and soft-play centre on Umm Suqeim Road, aimed at younger children and families. It sits on the service road beside a furniture store, a short drive from the main highway. The centre is built around a large multi-level soft-play structure, with slides, climbing obstacles, crawl tunnels, a ball pit and trampolines making up the core of the play area. The layout is designed to let children burn energy in a safe, supervised indoor space. Alongside the soft play, themed zones add variety, including a supermarket-style pretend-play area for role play, a small racing track and a miniature house. Arts and crafts, puppet shows and similar activities round out the offering. The venue runs a regular programme beyond free play, with toddler sessions, development workshops for mothers and young children, and scheduled play dates. These give the centre an educational slant as well as a recreational one. A supervised drop-off service operates on weekdays for children within a set age range, staffed by first-aid-trained minders, offering parents a few hours of childcare with structured activities. Sessions include crafts, play and supervised meals brought from home. A cafe area lets parents rest and eat while children play, and at times the centre has run a small cat cafe as an added attraction. Socks are required on the equipment in line with standard soft-play rules. Birthday parties are a major part of the business, with packages covering decorated party rooms, food, entertainment and full access to the play area. Memberships and multi-visit passes cater to regular visitors. Open daily across long hours, the centre serves the surrounding residential communities of Al Barsha and nearby districts as a year-round indoor option in a city where outdoor play is limited for much of the year.
