Designed around an equestrian theme, Last Exit Al Qudra is an outdoor food-truck park on Al Qudra Road, on the desert edge of Dubai near the cycling tracks and lakes of the Al Qudra area. It is one of several Last Exit pit stops set along the city's highways. The Last Exit brand created a series of roadside food-truck parks with strong visual themes, and the Al Qudra site leans into a horse-and-stables look. Many of the trucks are styled to resemble horse trailers, with horseshoes, hay bales and carriages dressing the space. Seating is laid out informally on rustic wooden tables and benches set on artificial grass between the trucks, giving a relaxed, open-air feel. A drive-through layout lets visitors order from their cars as well as sit down to eat. The line-up of trucks covers a range of casual food and drink, from burgers and grilled chicken to coffee, karak tea and pastries. The mix is geared towards quick, affordable meals rather than formal dining. Its location makes it a popular stop for cyclists using the nearby Al Qudra and Al Marmoom tracks, as well as for desert day-trippers and those heading out to the lakes. Early mornings and cooler evenings are typically the busiest times. The open setting on the fringe of the desert gives the park a calm, out-of-town atmosphere, with passing traffic and open sky rather than city towers. The site is noted for being pet-friendly, with dogs a common sight among the tables. As an outdoor venue, it is at its best through the cooler months and in the early and late parts of the day during summer. Parking is plentiful given the roadside, drive-in nature of the site. Together with the other Last Exit parks dotted along the routes in and out of the city, the Al Qudra site has become a recognisable feature of the drive to the desert, combining a quick meal with a distinctive themed setting.
