Inside Cityland Mall near Global Village, Oktopus Park by We Play is an indoor children's play park in the Wadi Al Safa area on the eastern edge of Dubai. It occupies a ground-floor unit in the garden-themed mall. The park is aimed at children from toddlers up to around the age of twelve, gathering a mix of soft play, interactive and creative zones under one roof. Its octopus theme runs through the design of the play areas. A central soft-play area offers slides, climbing structures and a large ball pit, giving older children space for active, physical play. The layout is built for energetic movement in a safe, padded environment. A separate toddler zone, cushioned and gently themed, provides foam obstacles, tunnels and crawl spaces sized for the youngest visitors. This keeps the smallest children apart from the busier sections. A key feature is the interactive playground, where projections and responsive floors react to children's movements, creating games and visual effects. These digital elements set the park apart from a standard soft-play centre. The venue also hosts workshops, seasonal camps, school trips and birthday parties, with private rooms available for celebrations. This gives it a role beyond casual drop-in play. A cafe area lets parents relax and watch over their children, and grip socks are required on the equipment in line with standard practice. Entry is sold per session, with one adult typically admitted free per child. Open daily into the evening, the park draws families from the surrounding communities and visitors to the nearby Global Village, offering an air-conditioned indoor option year-round. The pairing of physical soft play with responsive digital floors and projections gives the park a more modern, interactive feel than a standard ball-pit-and-slides centre, which is a large part of why families return.
