House of Mica is the working studio of contemporary artist Mica Stojanovic, tucked into Mastgrand in Malmo's Vastra Hamnen district, a couple of minutes from the Ica Maxi landmark. Stojanovic's own practice - bold, expressive portraiture exploring feminine strength and cultural identity - fills the walls, and her paintings are collected internationally with pickup available at the studio. The space runs a busy public programme alongside the easel work. Guided sip-and-paint parties, held in the studio or at a client's location, cover birthdays, bachelorette parties and corporate team-building; no experience is required and sessions are guided step by step with music and refreshments. Beginners' and intermediate mixed-media courses for adults run in six-week blocks - summer editions blend studio sessions with botanical studies and fast seaside painting in the surrounding harbour district - while weekly art classes introduce children aged seven and up to different mediums. Open Canvas Sundays offer non-guided painting in company for creatives who just want table space and good light. Lessons run in Swedish and English, materials are included, and groups are kept deliberately small. Booking and enquiries go through the website or by phone, and the studio's location makes it an easy add-on to a Vastra Hamnen walk between the Turning Torso and the waterfront.
