Rytmikhuset at Nordre Frihavnsgade 17d on Osterbro is Copenhagen's dedicated house for rhythmics - music and movement classes for children from three months to four years, run by Icelandic-born rhythmics educator Daggros Thyri Ingudottir, trained at the Institute for Rhythmics in 1996. Weekly courses and drop-in sessions build motor skills, language and musicality through song, drums, scarves, parachutes and play, with classes capped at twelve children; the house also runs continuing education in rhythmics for educators and delivers programmes directly to nurseries, kindergartens and schools.
