Concerts and community events fill the summer gaps - the park has advertised capacity up to 20,000 for festival configurations - while high school baseball's Butch Foster Memorial Classic and league all-star games keep the diamond busy beyond the Monarchs' schedule. Practical notes: the park sits off I-70 at the Village West exits with free parking lots; promotional nights drive the attendance, the berm and picnic areas suit families, and pairing a day game with the Legends Outlets or an evening Sporting KC match across the parking lots is the local double-header.
