Industry watchers slot the room alongside Washington's Anthem and Denver's Mission Ballroom as the new generation of purpose-built 2,000-plus clubs - the size where acts graduating from 600-cap rooms land, exactly the jump Billy Strings made from Terminal West to his four-night Eastern stand. The booking runs jam, hip-hop, indie, country and comedy - Tig Notaro was an early marquee - and the venue anchors the Dairies' shops and restaurants, giving Memorial Drive a nightly reason to stay lit. Operational details built the reputation as much as the design - fast entry, big clean restrooms sized for full capacity, four dressing rooms and a production office that crews praise on tour forums - and the rooftop's skyline view over Memorial Drive has become the default intermission photograph of Atlanta concert-going since the room opened.
