West El Paso built itself a Scottsdale-style resort club, and the promoters stopped needing to send the city's partygoers to Vegas. The Elmont Social is the live entertainment arm of The Elmont at 240 West Castellano Drive in Montecillo, El Paso's first smart-growth community, opened on April 19, 2025, as part of a 95,000-square-foot complex. The parent property covers the full resort menu: a swim club with a lazy river, zero-entry pool, three large slides and two full bars; the Evaga Desert Kitchen restaurant; a residents' clubhouse with gym and yoga studio; and an event centre whose grand ballroom seats 300 for weddings and quinceaneras. The Social is the night-side identity - a dedicated space for concerts, DJ nights and special performances produced with J and K Presents, one of El Paso's foremost event-curation firms, running day-to-night programming that blends cabana daylife with headline sets. The founding logic was market arithmetic: owners Ricky and Abe Aguilar had drawn multi-thousand crowds to downtown block parties for years but had no permanent venue of scale, and the Montecillo development gave them the site to fix it. The complex also runs Lost and Found, a smaller club holding about 300, letting the operation scale from an intimate DJ room to large open-air productions without leaving the property. For the 18-plus crowd of West El Paso the pitch is explicit - the same tier of touring artists that once required a road trip to Phoenix or a Vegas weekend, now playing a resort deck with Mount Cristo Rey on the horizon. The promoters' 2024 and 2025 lineups proved the demand they had bet on, mixing global electronic names with regional Latin stars across pool-deck day parties and evening concerts, and the cabana and table reservation model gives the operation a Vegas-style revenue engine that El Paso nightlife had simply never had at this scale.
