The summer calendar is dense and lucrative: the 2024 season alone ran 29 events between May and September, selling nearly 140,000 tickets - numbers that put the Fairgrounds among the country's strongest outdoor venues of its size. The opening summer set the tone with Fleet Foxes, Courtney Barnett, Jorja Smith and Death Cab for Cutie, and the seasons since have run rock, indie, electronic and hip-hop headliners from May to the first cold weekend. The development team - 16" on Center, Blue Star Properties, R2 and Sky Deck - preserved the industrial fabric down to the river conveyor structures, making the venue a working museum of the site's salt-hauling century.
