The Abdo New River Room is the third and most flexible performance space within the Broward Center for the Performing Arts at 201 Southwest 5th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. With a capacity of approximately 590 in a cabaret-style configuration, the room complements the 2,688-seat Au-Rene Theater and the 582-seat Amaturo Theater by offering a flat-floor space suited to jazz, cabaret, comedy, film screenings, lectures, receptions, and corporate events. The room features round-table seating with food and beverage service, creating an intimate dinner-theatre atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the New River, adding a scenic backdrop to evening performances. The Abdo New River Room is named after benefactors Bob and Sharon Abdo and is managed alongside the broader Broward Center complex.
