The entertainment venue at Casino Nova Scotia in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is The Bruce Guthro Theatre, formerly known as the Schooner Showroom. Renamed in December 2023 to honour the late Cape Breton musician Bruce Guthro, the theatre sits on the upper level of the casino at 1983 Upper Water Street on the Halifax waterfront. The room accommodates approximately 650 people for concerts and up to 300 for seated dinners. Programming leans into East Coast and Canadian talent -- country, Celtic, rock, folk, and comedy -- with national touring acts appearing regularly. All events in the theatre are 19-plus with valid identification required. Professional cameras and recording devices are not permitted. The casino also features the Compass Room, a circular harbour-view space highlighted by a 54-foot dome, available for receptions of up to 200 people. Multi-storey paid parking is available on site.
