The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College is a 1,499-seat performing arts venue and educational facility at 703 North 3rd Street in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Opened in 2017 as the Allan and Laura Wilson Humanities and Fine Arts Center, the facility is the most technologically advanced performing arts centre in Eastern North Carolina and serves as both a professional entertainment venue and a hands-on learning laboratory for CFCC students. The main stage measures 87 feet wide by 41 feet deep and accommodates large-scale touring concerts and Broadway productions. Backstage amenities include a covered loading dock, star and group dressing rooms, a green room, and a wardrobe room. Twenty-six instructional spaces and a studio theatre are integrated into the building. Concession stands operate on both the orchestra and grand tiers during performances. The box office can be reached at 910-362-7999. Programming includes PNC's Broadway season, nationally recognised musicians and comedians, and community events. As part of a community college, the Wilson Center offers reduced rental rates for county, state, and government agencies and for North Carolina-based organisations booking three or more dates per fiscal year. GPS users are directed to 200 Hanover Street for the parking deck.
