The Wolstein Center is a 13,610-seat multi-purpose arena at 2000 Prospect Avenue on the campus of Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. Originally named the CSU Convocation Center, the fifty-five-million-dollar facility opened on November 1, 1991, and was renamed in 2005 in honour of university benefactor Bert L. Wolstein. The arena's permanent seating of 13,610 can be expanded to 15,000 with floor seating for concerts and professional wrestling, while a proscenium curtain system allows the space to be scaled down to half-house configurations of 2,000 to 7,500. The Wolstein Center is home to the Cleveland State Vikings men's and women's basketball teams and has hosted the first two rounds of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship in 2000 and 2005. The facility features 18 luxury suites, four auxiliary basketball and volleyball courts, a recreational running track, a weight room, and 9,000 parking spaces within a four-block radius. The arena also hosts concerts, family shows, rodeos, and community events.
