Created in 2012 from a trio of former industrial buildings -- the Coach Shed, the Furnace and the Blade Factory -- Camp and Furnace is a large multi-use events venue on Greenland Street in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. The site had previously housed the A Foundation, a contemporary arts organisation that closed in 2011, and was reopened by a collective of local creative businesses together with the arts patron James Moores. The venue is built around versatile warehouse spaces, with a quoted capacity of around 2,400 and several distinct event areas. Its programme spans club nights, live music, food festivals, exhibitions, cinema screenings, corporate functions and weddings, mixing an industrial, rustic look with a festival-style atmosphere under one roof. It has been a significant part of the regeneration of the Baltic Triangle, now one of Liverpool's main creative quarters, and sits within easy reach of the city centre.
