Operating since 2002, the Comedy Station is described as Lancashire's only dedicated comedy venue, sitting on Bank Hey Street in the heart of Blackpool, directly opposite the rear of the Blackpool Tower complex. Over more than two decades it has brought touring acts from the UK circuit to the Fylde Coast. The club runs shows every Friday and Saturday plus selected Thursdays and Sundays, and is open year-round. Comedians to have appeared include Jason Manford, Eddie Izzard, Seann Walsh, Gary Delaney and Maisie Adam, alongside compered bills of newer acts. The venue is wheelchair accessible once inside, though it cannot accommodate mobility scooters. Its central location, steps from the Tower and the Promenade, makes it a fixture of Blackpool's entertainment offer.
