Freight Brixton is a large open-air rooftop food, drink and music destination at 33 Brixton Station Road in south London, adjacent to Brixton Village Market and opposite the Pop Brixton containers, a minute from Brixton station. Opened on 7 May 2026 from the team behind Manchester's Freight Island, it is billed as one of the city's largest rooftop venues, with a capacity above 1,000. Following the group's 'drink, dance and dine' formula, it gathers several talent-led kitchens -- anchored by an open-fire barbecue -- alongside speciality bars such as a Casamigos tequila bar and the Italian-inspired Hotel Milano. The programme spans chef residencies, cocktail bars, live music, DJ collectives, food festivals, community events and major sports screenings, including a World Cup fan zone. It sits in the heart of Brixton, one of south London's most vibrant districts, and operates as a cashless, largely ticketed venue.
