Horizon is a multi-room superclub built into the seafront arches at 214 Kings Road on the Brighton promenade, on the site previously occupied by Shooshh. Opened in autumn 2023 from a team associated with large-scale events such as the On the Beach series, Afro Nation and the Louder promotions company, it set out to be a cutting-edge addition to the south coast's nightlife. The venue spreads across several spaces -- a main auditorium, a tunnel, a lounge bar and Front Row VIP booths sat directly behind the DJ decks -- and even features a bathroom dancefloor with its own mirror ball. It is built around one of the city's most powerful sound systems and a bespoke lighting rig, with an eclectic programme taking in drum and bass, oldskool garage beach raves, tribute nights and themed events, typically open Fridays and Saturdays into the early hours. Its position directly on the beachfront, in the heart of Brighton, makes it one of the city's landmark club spaces.
