The Benidorm Bar is a themed LGBTQ+ venue at 27 Stanley Street, in the heart of Liverpool's Pride Quarter. Inspired by the long-running ITV comedy of the same name, it leans into a sunshine-holiday atmosphere of karaoke, party games, and resident drag entertainment, occupying a site that previously traded as the venue Social. The bar is run by the drag performer and entertainer Linda Gold, who also operates FunnyBoyz in the city's Baltic Triangle and built the Benidorm Bingo brand before opening this venue. A signature feature is a wristband scheme allowing pints to be bought for a fixed low price, a concept carried over from the owner's years working as a resident entertainer in Alicante. Programming changes by the day, with themed nights spanning 1970s and 80s hits, live bands, and dedicated R&B sessions, alongside musical bingo and drag DJ sets. The Benidorm Bar typically opens across the weekend and is one of several recent additions to Stanley Street's LGBTQ+ nightlife.
