The Pink Room is the main live-music space within YES, a four-floor music venue, bar, and kitchen at 38 Charles Street in Manchester, just off the Oxford Road Corridor. Run by the independent promoters Now Wave, YES opened in 2018 in a former auctioneers' house dating to 1912, retaining original features such as mosaic tiling while adding a tailor-made sound system across the building. The neon-hued Pink Room is the venue's flagship event space, with a capacity of around 250, and hosts some of the city's most talked-about gigs alongside DJ-led club nights. Programming spans house, disco, post-punk, electro, and leftfield pop, with a knack for booking emerging artists on the way up. YES as a whole runs from a ground-floor beer-hall bar and a smaller, 60-capacity basement to an all-weather rooftop terrace, with food outlets including its Pepperoni Playboy pizza. Open daily from midday until late, it functions as a social hub by day and a live-music and club destination by night.
