Opened in early 2025 in the shell of the former Pryzm nightclub on Canon's Road, Circuit is a modern late-night venue on Bristol's Harbourside. The building, which had previously operated as Oceana and then Pryzm, was split during a major refurbishment into two distinct spaces, with Circuit emerging as the dedicated club and a separate apres-ski themed bar created alongside it. Circuit welcomed its first Bristol clubgoers at the end of January 2025. The venue is run as part of a group that already operates clubs in several other cities, and the Bristol site followed the success of its sister venue in Cardiff. The refurbishment, reported to have cost in the region of two and a half million pounds, was pitched as bringing a new level of club experience to the city, with an emphasis on cutting-edge sound and lighting technology and a fresh set of event concepts. Circuit operates as a large-capacity nightclub, with room for around fifteen hundred people across multiple rooms of music, plus VIP areas, table service and private spaces. Promoted as offering several rooms of essential music, it programmes weekly club nights as well as themed and special events, aiming at a broad mainstream audience looking for a high-production night out. The club opens on Friday and Saturday nights into the early hours, with free entry available before a set time earlier in the evening, and tables and VIP packages bookable in advance. Its model is built around regular weekend trade supplemented by one-off events and party nights drawing on its sound and lighting setup. Sitting on the Harbourside close to the waterfront, Circuit occupies one of the most prominent late-night sites in central Bristol, inheriting a location long associated with the city's mainstream clubbing scene. By rebranding and re-equipping the former Pryzm space, it has continued that tradition under a new identity aimed at contemporary club audiences.
