At the Al Qana waterfront leisure development on the eastern edge of Abu Dhabi Island near the Maqta Bridge, Adrenark Adventure is the largest indoor adventure sports facility in the United Arab Emirates and one of the largest in the broader Middle East region. The 60,000-square-foot adventure complex opened in December 2022 as one of the principal anchor tenants of the broader Al Qana waterfront development, which combines an enormous National Aquarium, several restaurants and a small commercial harbour on a man-made island just east of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The complex is organised around a series of more than 20 individual adventure-sports experiences arranged across the main 50-foot-tall central activity hall. The signature attraction is the dramatic 130-foot-long ninja warrior obstacle course, the longest indoor obstacle course in the United Arab Emirates, featuring more than 30 individual challenges including monkey bars, salmon ladders, ring toss obstacles, balance beams, swinging ropes and rotating platforms. A separate climbing zone houses some of the tallest indoor climbing walls in the broader Middle East, with several individual climbing walls reaching heights of 60 feet. The climbing zone includes both bouldering walls (short walls with thick mat padding requiring no harnesses or ropes) and tall lead-climbing walls (requiring full harnesses and trained safety partners). A separate auto-belay section accommodates beginners and casual climbers with self-locking safety equipment. The aerial adventure section houses one of the largest indoor sky-trail courses in the region, with a multi-level overhead course featuring more than 40 individual elements including suspended walking bridges, swinging beams, balance challenges and the popular Leap of Faith free-fall jump. The course is configured at three different difficulty levels. Other major attractions include the indoor skydiving simulator (a small vertical wind tunnel), the indoor surfing simulator (using a continuously circulating sheet-flow water wave), several trampoline zones, a foam pit, a 30-foot Edge Coaster suspended monorail experience, a kids' adventure zone for younger visitors and the popular Adrenark Cafe serving snacks and refreshments. The venue operates seven days a week with extended weekend evening hours, with day-pass pricing including unlimited access to all attractions.
