The DUCTAC community theatre stages plays, art exhibitions and workshops year-round. Renovation phases in 2015 and 2022 added an open-air dining terrace called The Promenade and a glass-roofed Galeria district, ensuring the venue stays competitive against newer Dubai mega-malls. Operating hours typically run from ten in the morning until midnight, with extended weekend trading during Ramadan and the Dubai Shopping Festival each January drawing millions of additional visitors annually. Ski Dubai underwent a major expansion in 2023 that added a new freestyle snow zone and an enlarged penguin enclosure. Magic Planet hosts birthday parties and school holiday camps with timed admission packages. The mall publishes a free shuttle schedule connecting it to major hotels across Dubai during peak tourism months, easing the load on the public transport network.
