Historically, the ocean has been both a symbol of life and a mirror of the human inner state. Today, however, it is threatened by rising temperatures, pollution, and deoxygenation, which destabilize its complex ecosystems. Creating a connection to the ocean through culture is not merely an aesthetic practice, but a necessity at a time when the ocean is in crisis.
