Razzmatazz

Born from the ashes of the legendary Sala Zeleste in 2000, Razzmatazz grew into one of Barcelona's biggest and most important nightlife institutions. Set in two converted mid-century factories in the Poblenou district, the venue inherited Zeleste's role as a cradle of the city's music scene and expanded it across a sprawling, almost labyrinthine complex. Its defining feature is a layout of five distinct rooms, each with its own identity, from the main concert-hall-sized Razzclub to the electronic-focused Loft, the indie-leaning Lolita and smaller spaces beyond. A single ticket grants access to all five, letting clubbers wander between indie rock, techno, house and pop across one night. The main hall, holding more than two thousand people, has hosted a staggering roll-call of artists, from Oasis and Radiohead to Bjork and Paul McCartney during the Zeleste years and since. Its raw, factory-loft aesthetic, all staircases, passageways and industrial brick, gives it a character unlike any purpose-built club. Celebrating a quarter-century in 2025, it has become woven into the cultural fabric of the city. A true heavyweight, Razzmatazz endures as one of Barcelona's defining venues, a Poblenou complex whose five rooms, legendary heritage and genre-spanning programming have kept it at the centre of the city's music and clubbing life.
