On the 50th floor of the Palm Tower at the gateway to the Palm Jumeirah artificial archipelago in Dubai, AURA SKYPOOL is the first 360-degree infinity sky pool in the world and one of the most heavily Instagrammed leisure venues in the entire United Arab Emirates. The dramatic 50th-floor venue opened in December 2021, occupying the upper levels of the 240-metre Palm Tower (the tallest building on the Palm Jumeirah) and providing panoramic 360-degree views over the entire Palm Jumeirah, the Dubai Marina, the Dubai mainland coastline and the open Persian Gulf. The pool itself is a continuous oval-shaped infinity pool that wraps almost entirely around the central core of the building at the 50th-floor level. The pool's outer edge runs flush against the floor-to-ceiling glass safety panels that ring the rooftop terrace, with the constantly overflowing water at the pool's lip producing the dramatic visual impression that the pool ends at the open sky. The four short sections of solid floor that interrupt the continuous pool perimeter (each section approximately 8 metres long) provide access between the inner-deck lounging areas and the outer infinity-pool perimeter. The pool deck is organised around four distinct lounging zones, each themed to one of the four cardinal points and each providing a different sequence of views. The North Deck looks directly toward the central Palm Jumeirah and the broader Persian Gulf. The South Deck looks back toward the Dubai mainland and the central downtown skyline including the Burj Khalifa. The East and West Decks look along the broader Dubai Marina coastline and the open sea. The venue operates throughout the day with a single combined admission fee that includes pool access, a single lounger or daybed, and (during peak summer months) a substantial included food-and-beverage credit redeemable at the on-site bar and small restaurant. The on-site Asian-Mediterranean cuisine menu features small plates designed for casual poolside dining, with a separate cocktail menu featuring signature beverages themed to the venue's panoramic Dubai location. The pool is open to swimmers and sunbathers from 9 in the morning through the late evening, with extended weekend hours and special sunset-themed packages available for premium booking. Reservations are essential during all peak seasons and weekend periods.
