Spread across three sectors divided by major roads and linked by pedestrian bridges, Zabeel Park is one of the largest urban parks in Dubai, covering around 47.5 hectares between the Trade Centre and Karama districts. Opened in 2005, it was among the first technology-themed parks in the region, combining extensive green space with educational and recreational facilities. The park is best known today as the home of the Dubai Frame, a towering 150 metre golden rectangular structure with a glass-floored sky bridge connecting its two pillars, offering panoramic views that contrast old Dubai on one side with the modern skyline on the other. Beyond the Frame, the park offers expansive lawns, landscaped gardens, lakes, jogging and cycling tracks, barbecue areas, a boating lake and a range of play and sports facilities. Families are drawn by the children's play areas, a mega-maze, a cricket pitch, football fields and an open-air amphitheatre that hosts concerts, festivals and community events. The park has also hosted seasonal attractions, markets and the Dubai Garden Glow, a series of illuminated installations. Mature landscaping and irrigated lawns create shaded, green surroundings throughout, and the layout is designed to be walkable and accessible, with the connecting bridges allowing visitors to move between the sectors on foot. Food kiosks, cafes and rest areas are distributed across the grounds. Entry is charged at a nominal fee, with the Dubai Frame ticketed separately. The park's central location, near the Trade Centre and within reach of the metro and major road links, makes it easily accessible, and it serves as a popular destination for picnics, exercise, family outings and events, particularly during the cooler months when outdoor activity peaks, while shaded areas and lawns keep it usable across the year throughout every season of the calendar. The Dubai Frame and seasonal attractions are ticketed separately, and the park's central location near the metro and major roads makes it one of the most accessible green spaces in the city throughout the year across every season.
