Opened on 8 August 2025 in a purpose-built six-thousand-square-metre attraction zone at the ASIATIQUE The Riverfront destination in southern Bangkok, Jurassic World The Experience is the first permanent location-based attraction of the famous Jurassic World film franchise anywhere in South-East Asia and one of the most substantial new immersive entertainment attractions to open in the Thai capital during the post-pandemic recovery period. The development was carried out by the Thai Asset World Corporation with the Universal Destinations and Experiences division of NBCUniversal under a long-term licensing agreement for the use of the Jurassic World intellectual property. The construction took around eighteen months between the original groundbreaking in early 2024 and the formal opening ceremony on 8 August 2025, with the opening attended by the senior executives of both Asset World and Universal Destinations alongside the principal Thai tourism authority representatives. The principal attraction is a continuous walk-through immersive experience taking visitors through several themed environments inspired by the fictional Isla Nublar dinosaur park of the famous Jurassic World film franchise. The visitor route covers a substantial six-thousand-square-metre exhibition space across several distinct themed zones, with around twenty individual life-sized animatronic dinosaurs spread across the various environments. The principal animatronic species include the famous Tyrannosaurus Rex, several velociraptors, a substantial Brachiosaurus, a Triceratops and several smaller species. Supplementary supporting attractions within the wider Hatch Dome complex include the Better World Better Future four-dimensional sustainability attraction, an immersive forty-minute environmental presentation taking visitors from the original extinction of the dinosaurs sixty-six million years ago through to a possible future Earth shaped by the various human choices on climate, conservation and resource management. The principal Fossil and Flame restaurant on the upper level is the first-ever permanent Jurassic World-themed restaurant outside of the existing North American Universal theme parks. The supplementary facilities include the Jurassic World Experience Retail Store, a bunker-themed retail space at the end of the visitor route selling exclusive Jurassic World merchandise alongside a small fossil display including a particularly impressive cast of an original Tyrannosaurus Rex skull. The standard daily operating hours run between eleven hundred and twenty-two hundred, with the last entry to the main walk-through attraction at twenty-one hundred. Access to the wider ASIATIQUE complex is provided by the free shuttle boat service running every fifteen minutes from the central Saphan Taksin pier.
