2Funky Music Cafe is a live-music venue in the West End of Leicester, at 23A New Park Street, and the centrepiece of the wider 2Funky Complex established in 2015. The Music Cafe itself is a large indoor room with a stage, bar, and a balcony area overlooking the performance space, together with a south-facing beer garden. The venue hosts a varied programme of live concerts, club nights, and special events, supporting grassroots and touring artists across genres including rock, indie, funk, hip-hop, soul, and electronic music. Over the years it has built a strong local following for both its gigs and themed nights such as Northern Soul events. The Music Cafe is one of five spaces in the 2Funky Complex - alongside the Lobby, Garden, Club, and Terrace - with the cafe holding around 350 and the full complex accommodating several hundred more. The venue is also widely used for private parties, festivals, comedy, and other cultural events in the city.
