Cris Contini Contemporary is an international art gallery in the heart of Notting Hill, on Lonsdale Road in west London. Founded in 2018 by Cristian Contini and Fulvio Granocchia, it runs its London space alongside offices in Rome and Brussels, presenting an eclectic, multicultural programme that bridges the great modern masters and leading contemporary artists. The gallery's portfolio gives collectors access to work by modern masters such as Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Lucio Fontana and Robert Indiana, set alongside contemporary figures including David Begbie, Endless, Jeff Robb and Simon Berger. This pairing of historic and current work reflects the founders' aim of supporting both emerging and established names through an extensive exhibition programme. Its schedule of rotating exhibitions ranges from Jeff Robb's lenticular photography to solo debuts and themed group shows, and the gallery times much of its programme to coincide with London's cultural calendar, including Frieze, Photo London Week and London Craft Week. It also participates in international art fairs and produces accompanying publications. The Notting Hill space was inaugurated in 2024 with "VIVID", a solo exhibition by British artist Mark James, and is open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday between ten in the morning and six in the evening. Admission is free, in keeping with the model of a commercial gallery that doubles as an exhibition space open to visitors and collectors alike. Lonsdale Road lies at the heart of Notting Hill, a district long associated with galleries, antiques, the Portobello Road market and the Notting Hill Carnival. Cris Contini Contemporary adds an international, modern-and-contemporary presence to an area already known for its strong artistic and creative character.
