At the heart of the Cheshire town of Alsager for more than fifty years, Alsager Civic is a community and events centre on Lawton Road that has recently been completely refurbished. The building serves as a versatile venue for private, commercial and community events, and is also where Alsager Town Council meets. Its Main Hall is a large space with a capacity of around 300 in a theatre layout, fitted with a sprung dance floor, a stage with modern sound and lighting systems, a stocked and staffed bar and a full kitchen. It has long doubled as a theatre and concert venue, and is the performance home of Alsager Community Theatre, an amateur drama group founded in 1973.
