A multi-purpose indoor arena on Al Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi, Space42 Arena was built as a flexible venue for concerts, sporting events, conferences and large private functions. It took the Space42 name in 2024 under a ten-year naming-rights deal with the Abu Dhabi space-technology company, struck alongside a national combat-sports federation. The complex covers around 4,000 square metres, centred on a 2,500-square-metre hall with a ceiling height of about fifteen metres able to hold up to 3,000 guests. Backstage areas, meeting rooms and dressing facilities support full productions, while parking for roughly a thousand vehicles serves large crowds. The flat-floor hall can be reconfigured for seated theatre shows, standing concerts, banquets, exhibitions or sporting bouts, with the layout changed to suit each event. Combat-sports cards, live music, galas and corporate launches have featured among the events it is set up to host across the year. As a mid-sized arena rather than a stadium, it fills a gap between the capital's small theatres and its largest event halls, aimed at audiences in the low thousands. The venue is hired out for everything from gaming tournaments and galas to product launches and weddings, with seating and staging adjusted for each booking. As a relatively new, mid-sized arena, it slots into Abu Dhabi's event scene below the giant halls of the national exhibition centre and the big island arenas, catering to promoters who need a space for audiences in the low thousands. Its waterfront setting on Al Raha Beach, with ample parking and quick motorway access toward both the airport and the city centre, has been part of the pitch to event organisers since the naming deal raised its profile.
