Vegas moved the concert to the pool and kept the parking free. Bel-Aire Backyard is the outdoor pool-and-events venue of Durango Casino and Resort at 6915 South Durango Drive, the southwest-valley property Station Casinos opened in December 2023 - a palm-shaded, desert-modern pool deck by day that converts after hours into the home of the Poolside Concert Series, the AEG Presents and Clique Hospitality partnership that debuted in 2025 and returned bigger the following season. The booking brings Strip-calibre names to a locals' address: The Fray, Thievery Corporation, The Struts, Blues Traveler, Sevendust, Switchfoot and country risers like Scotty McCreery and Jackson Dean have all headlined, with shows running April through November - doors at 7, music at 8, an 11pm curfew, rain or shine. Pool access is included with event admission, private cabanas and VIP tables ring the water, and the day-club amenities - handcrafted cocktails, food service, that first-swim-then-encore rhythm - are the point of the format. The pitch is deliberate counterprogramming to the Strip: off the I-215 with free valet, garage and surface parking, no resort-corridor traffic, and an intimate standing-room scale that puts the stage a pool's length away. For the fast-growing southwest valley the venue has become the default summer evening out, and for the resort it completes the locals-casino playbook - dining, gaming and now a genuine concert calendar without the drive downtown. The venue's dual life is the operating genius: by day it is Durango's resort pool with cabana service and a full food-and-cocktail program, and the concert conversion happens without moving a deck chair's worth of the luxury - ticket holders swim through soundcheck. The series' growth from debut season to expanded second-year lineup tracked the southwest valley's own boom, and AEG's involvement guarantees routing that treats the pool deck as a real tour stop rather than a casino afterthought.
