Landmark Credit Union Live
click to manageThe Bradley Center hosted Milwaukee's arena rock for three decades; on part of its footprint now stands the city's newest music hall. Landmark Credit Union Live, at 1051 North Vel R. Phillips Avenue in the Deer District beside Fiserv Forum, opened on 27 February 2026 as a 4,500-capacity indoor venue built from the ground up for live music. The project closed a gap in the market: FPC Live - the venue arm of Wisconsin promoter Frank Productions, itself a Live Nation subsidiary - and the Milwaukee Bucks announced the joint venture in May 2022 for the vacant Bradley Center site, demolished in 2019 after the Bucks moved next door. Construction began in May 2024, pausing that July while the Republican National Convention occupied Fiserv Forum. The naming deal kept it local: Brookfield-based Landmark Credit Union took the rights in October 2025, framing the venue as a long-term commitment to downtown Milwaukee - with credit union members getting perks like dedicated Fast Lane entry - and the building debuted with a community preview on 25 February 2026 before Rainbow Kitten Surprise played the first concert two nights later. The design targets the club-to-arena gap: a three-story music hall with a second-floor lounge and outdoor terrace, state-of-the-art sound, and backstage amenities - lounges, a gym, a private patio - aimed at making touring crews want to route through Milwaukee; the venue projects more than 70 events a year spanning emerging acts and national headliners, plus private events for 25 to 3,000 guests. The economics were part of the pitch: more than 200 jobs across operations, hospitality and security at starting wages of 20 dollars an hour, and a projected boost to the Deer District's restaurant-and-bar economy on non-game nights - extending the neighbourhood the Bucks' championship runs built into a seven-day entertainment district. Practical notes: the venue sits a block from Fiserv Forum with the Deer District plaza between - check for Bucks game overlap before driving; downtown garages and pre-purchase parking handle cars, MCTS buses and the Hop streetcar serve the area, and the second-floor Message In A Bottle bar is the meeting point of choice.
