Completed in the summer of 2015 on twenty-eight acres north of Nebraska Innovation Campus, Barbara Hibner Soccer Stadium is the purpose-built home of the University of Nebraska women's soccer programme. The facility sits at 2400 North Antelope Valley Parkway in Lincoln, with convenient access from Cornhusker Highway and Interstate 180. The stadium features a 2,500-seat grandstand, a standing-room berm along the east end, and an elevated outdoor viewing deck at the north end zone offering panoramic views of downtown Lincoln, the university campus, and the Nebraska State Capitol. A fully equipped press box atop the grandstand serves television and video crews, while a HuskerVision video board and digital scoreboard enhance the match-day atmosphere. The complex is named for Dr. Barbara Hibner, who spent nearly three decades as an administrator overseeing women's athletics at the university and spearheaded the creation of the mascot Lil' Red in 1994. She received the department's first Trailblazer Award, later renamed in her honour following her death in 2007. Construction was part of a 20.4-million-dollar project that also delivered the adjacent Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center. A free 600-vehicle parking lot flanks the east side of the stadium, accessible from 14th Street. In its inaugural season the Huskers ranked thirteenth nationally in women's soccer attendance, reflecting the strong support base the programme enjoys in Lincoln.
