A multi-acre indoor and outdoor art space at 1237 W Street NE in Washington, D.C.'s Brentwood neighbourhood, BERHTA opened in 2025 as the district's first hi-fidelity music and performance venue purpose-built for concerts, festivals, performing arts, and immersive experiences. Three primary stages operate across distinct environments, each with its own custom-designed sound system engineered for zero-distortion, warm, and immersive listening. The main indoor hall, BERHTA, holds 3,500 with a fully flexible open-floor plan, floating floors, double walls, and professional blast doors for soundproofing. Its system runs 26 subwoofers, 12 mid-bass cabinets, 36 mid-bass arrays, 48 mids, and 48 highs -- a specification more commonly found in Berlin's techno temples than in a D.C. nightlife venue. A second indoor space, BETTE, holds 850 with towering ceilings and projection walls suited to art installations, multi-level staging, and immersive events, powered by 230,000 peak watts. The outdoor stage, BANANAS, accommodates 2,000 for festivals and day-to-night events.
