Located in the historic Greenwood District of downtown Tulsa, a neighbourhood that rose to prominence in the early twentieth century as the centre of a thriving Black business community before the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre destroyed it, ONEOK Field opened in 2010 as the home of the Tulsa Drillers, a Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Designed by Populous and built by Manhattan Construction Company at a cost of 39.2 million dollars, the ballpark has a brick and zinc exterior that blends with nearby Art Deco architecture. Official seating capacity is 7,833 with the ability to hold over 9,000 for special events; the record stands at 9,417 for a 2010 Bedlam Series game between the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. The park features a 360-degree concourse, 23 suites, and a playing field recessed 13 feet below street level. Two outfield berm areas provide casual viewing, with the right-field berm overlooking both bullpens. ONEOK Field also serves as the home of FC Tulsa of the USL Championship. Notable Drillers alumni include Sammy Sosa, Ivan Rodriguez, Matt Holliday, Cody Bellinger, Walker Buehler, and Nolan Arenado. The stadium is located at 201 North Elgin Avenue, Tulsa, OK. The total project budget, including adjacent land acquisition for complementary development, was 60 million dollars. Concession offerings include the Boomtown Coney and other regional favourites. ONEOK (pronounced "one oak") purchased the 20-year naming rights for five million dollars in January 2009. The Drillers have won Texas League championships in 1982, 1988, 1998, and 2018. Field dimensions measure 330 feet down the left-field line, 400 to centre, and 307 to right. Field dimensions measure 330 feet to left, 400 to centre, and 307 to right, with a playing surface recessed 13 feet below street level.
