One of the most ambitious soccer-specific stadiums in North America, TQL Stadium opened on May 16, 2021, as the home of FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer. Designed by Populous and built by Turner Construction at a cost of 250 million dollars, the 26,000-seat venue sits on 12.4 acres at 1501 Central Parkway in the West End neighbourhood, connecting the historic Over-the-Rhine and West End communities. The Bailey, FC Cincinnati's legendary supporters' section in the north stands, accommodates 3,170 fans on a 34-degree slope -- among the steepest in the league -- creating an imposing wall of sound over the pitch. Above The Bailey sits the widest video board in any North American soccer-specific stadium. A 300,000-square-foot canopy shields every seat from the elements, and first-in-the-world LED fin lighting powered by 2.7 miles of LED lights illuminates the exterior. The stadium includes 53 executive suites, 4,500 premium club seats, and a Kentucky bluegrass playing surface. TQL Stadium hosted the 2023 MLS All-Star Game and has become a fixture on international friendly and USMNT schedules. The venue is accessible via the Connector trolley at 14th and Elm. The 518,000-square-foot facility was designed to embed FC Cincinnati into the fabric of the West End community, with transparent ground-level facades, public plazas, and pedestrian-friendly streetscapes that activate the neighbourhood on both match days and off days. A Bermuda grass surface installed in 2024 replaced the original hybrid grass, and a Kentucky bluegrass surface followed in 2025. Parking is available in surrounding neighbourhood lots and garages, and pre-match tailgating takes place along Central Parkway. FC Cincinnati has drawn among the highest average attendances in MLS since its expansion debut, routinely filling TQL Stadium above 90 percent capacity on match days.
