One of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia, occupying the basement levels of Siam Paragon shopping mall in central Bangkok, directly accessible from Siam BTS Skytrain station. The 10,000-square-metre facility houses over 30,000 marine and freshwater creatures across multiple themed zones, with a 270-degree underwater tunnel, touch pools, glass-bottom boat rides, and shark feeding experiences providing varied engagement with the aquatic displays. Exhibition zones include a deep reef section housing sharks, rays, and pelagic fish in a 4.6-million-litre main tank; a tropical ocean zone with coral reef habitats; a rainforest section featuring freshwater species from Southeast Asian river systems; a rocky shore tide pool area; and a penguin ice adventure zone. The diversity of habitats allows the aquarium to present both local Southeast Asian aquatic biodiversity and charismatic species from around the world. Interactive experiences include shark diving and shark walking for certified and uncertified participants respectively, behind-the-scenes tours of filtration systems and feeding preparation areas, and ocean feeding sessions visible through the tunnel. A 5D cinema presents short marine-themed films with motion, wind, and water effects. Educational programmes serve Bangkok's school population with curriculum-linked workshops. The underground shopping-mall location -- unusual for a major aquarium -- provides climate-controlled comfort year-round in Bangkok's tropical heat and makes the attraction combinable with the extensive retail and dining facilities of Siam Paragon above. The aquarium operates daily with extended weekend hours. Combined tickets with Madame Tussauds and other Siam Paragon attractions are available. Conservation messaging runs throughout the visitor experience, with information on marine pollution, coral reef decline, and sustainable fishing practices integrated into species displays. A breeding and rehabilitation programme for sea turtles operates behind the scenes, with released animals tracked and their progress shared with visitors through the aquarium's digital platforms.
