A 165-metre observation wheel on the Marina Bay waterfront, the Singapore Flyer was the world's tallest Ferris wheel when it opened in 2008 until overtaken by the High Roller in Las Vegas in 2014. The wheel comprises 28 fully air-conditioned capsules, each accommodating up to 28 passengers, completing a full rotation in approximately 30 minutes and providing 360-degree views encompassing the Marina Bay skyline, the shipping lanes of the Singapore Strait, and on clear days the Indonesian Riau Islands and Malaysian Johor. At night, the city's illumination transforms the experience into a slow-motion panorama of light.
