Seoul Sky Lotte World Tower

The observation deck occupying floors 117 to 123 of the Lotte World Tower, Seoul's tallest building at 555 metres and one of the tallest structures in the world. Seoul Sky opened in 2017 as part of the Lotte World Tower complex in the Songpa-gu district, providing an observation experience at approximately 500 metres above ground -- making it one of the highest glass-floored observation decks globally and the highest in South Korea. Access begins with the Sky Shuttle elevators, which ascend to the 121st floor in approximately one minute, with ceiling-mounted screens presenting an animated journey-to-the-sky sequence during the ascent. The observation level features floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a glass-bottom Sky Deck section where visitors stand on transparent panels with a direct view to the ground 500 metres below. The outdoor Sky Terrace on the 120th floor exposes visitors to the wind and open air at altitude. The 360-degree view encompasses the entire Seoul metropolitan area and beyond: the Han River bisecting the city, the mountain ring defining the historical basin, the Gangnam commercial district, the Jamsil sports complex, and in clear conditions the terrain extending toward the North Korean border. Interactive screens at viewing positions identify visible landmarks and overlay informational content about Seoul's geography and history. Seoul Sky occupies the upper levels of the same tower complex that includes the Lotte World Mall, Lotte World Aquarium, and the Signiel Seoul luxury hotel. Jamsil Station on Metro Lines 2 and 8 provides direct underground access to the tower base. Timed-entry tickets with sunset premium pricing are available online, and the facility operates daily year-round. A Sky Lounge and dessert cafe on the observation floors allow visitors to enjoy refreshments while taking in the view. Group and event packages are available for private functions at altitude.
