The Beer Carpenter started in a run-down Norrebro room with a basement brewery and a dream. Olsnedkeren opened in 2012 at Griffenfeldsgade 52, where founders including hobby-brewer Simon Toft Hansen poured beer straight from the tanks downstairs to the taps upstairs - brewing at least weekly, often on ideas suggested by the customers themselves, so the board changed faster than most bars change their specials.
