Originally built as the Loew's Penn Theatre in 1927, Heinz Hall is a 2,676-seat concert hall and performing arts centre at 600 Penn Avenue in the Cultural District of Pittsburgh. Designed by the prolific theatre architects Rapp and Rapp, the opulent movie palace featured a marble staircase, a 50-foot vaulted Venetian ceiling, and one-ton crystal chandeliers.
